I wanted to locate the registration number that was on the first truck bought by my grandfather when he started in business for himself back in the 30s.
The searches that I have done seem to indicate that the number is no longer in circulation.
Can ‘out of circulation’ numbers be resurrected?

Hi Andy, Current rules state that previously issued registrations cannot be resurrected. If you call DVLA on 0300 123 0883 they should be able to confirm whether or not the registration you are interested in has definitely gone out of circulation.
